Lunch Lecture Movares

Lunch lecture Movares

Do you want to participate in large-scale projects in infrastructure, mobility and logistics? Our history is in NS, the Dutch railways, but after becoming independent, we have expanded our activities in various types of mobility, infrastructure and energy projects.

Just a few examples:

  • Pedestrian behaviour research for Zaandam station;
  • Doubling a railway track in eastern Netherlands;
  • Explorative research to a new bridge (or tunnel) over the Maas in Rotterdam;
  • Bicycle parking facilities near stations in Paris;
  • A new tramtunnel in Utrecht.

All places where large-scale, complex infrastructure and mobility designs are needed, that’s where we are active. As consultant and engineering company with about 900 employees, distributed over the Netherlands, our strength is to develop early phase creative ideas into functional, elaborated designs together with our clients.

In this lunch lecture TIL-alumni Richard Savenije and Arjan Freije will share how they contribute to a more attractive, sustainable and connected environment in their projects, but also in their communication and daily business while working on complex, wicked problems. Thereby, there is sufficient time to ask questions or elaborate on working for an engineering company and possibilities for a design project or (thesis) internship.
